Muchos han sido los que han versionado esta famosa canción desde que la escribieran la cantante y actriz Cher y su esposo Sonny Bono en 1966.

Aunque la más conocida es la versión de Nancy Sinatra, también de 1966, nosotras os entregamos una pildorita de amor con esta versión particular de 1967 de Dolores Vargas “La Terremoto”.

Curiosidades

  • Hermana de Enrique Calderón Vargas, más conocido como El Príncipe Gitano, famoso por su versión “In the guetto” de Elvis Presley.
  • “A tu vera”, su primer gran éxito que llego a ser disco de oro, se escribió para La Terremoto, aunque después fuese interpretada y se diese a conocer por otras artistas, entre ellas, Lola Flores.
  • Dolores Vargas fue candidata para representar a España en Eurovisión en 1972, con su canción más famosa “A-chi-li-pu”.
  • Actualmente sólo canta en el culto de una Iglesia Evangélica en Xirivella, Valencia.
