Esta banda b20100331111640-the_specialsritánica de ska se formó en 1977, en Coventry y son unos de los grupos más representativos de este género. Empezaron tocando ska, punk y pop y más tarde, fusionaron todos estos estilos, creando un nuevo sonido que fue conocido como 2 Tone. Sus temas más conocidos incluyen «A Message To You Rudy», «Ghost Town» (su máximo hit), «Too Much Too Young» y su debut, «Gangsters». Os dejo el videoclip de su tema «Racist Friend» que recoge los ideales antiracistas que difundía este estilo, fue lanzado en 1984.
