"Torsos gritantes sin cabeza": Minidosis de Screaming Headless Torsos: Smile in a Wave

Screaming Headless Torsos son una banda de Jazz/Funk formada en 1989 por el guitarrista David Fiuczynski, junto al vocalista Dean Bowman, Fima Ephron al bajo y el percusionista Daniel Sasownick.

Sólo cuatro grabaciones completan el historial musiquiátrico de esta banda: 1995, Live!! (2001), 2005 (2005) y Choice Cuts (2006), entre los que podemos encontrar pequeñas joyas del tipo de Smile in a Wave. Un impresionante tema en el que hacen un doble homenaje: por un lado a Jack Johnson, el primer boxeador negro que ganó el campeonato mundial de los pesos pesados, y por otro a Miles Davis, que ya hizo su homenaje a Jhonson en otro de los mejores discos de jazz de la historia, A tribute to Jack Jhonson.
